The Philosophical Writings of Descartes

Also known as CSM, after the initials of the translators (Cottingham, Stoothoff, Murdoch), this series contains the contemporary scholarly English translations of Descartes' philosophical works. It was planned as a two-volume series, with both of the initial volumes being published in 1985. The third volume was added in 1991, and builds on earlier work by Anthony Kenny.
